"Small Japanese style guesthouse , close to the park very good for budget travelers."

"Unbeatable value if you're comfortable with a fully automated stay. The property is clean and in an excellent location. The rooms are a bit small, and the included breakfast is just okay. Additionally, there is no visible staff on-site, so you need to be comfortable using an automated system for self-check-in/out and luggage storage. "Fantastic breakfast including fresh breads and Japanese hot dishes. Homemade fresh local tofu. Many organic foods. Close to station and shops and restaurants. Great view of Nara City at night during the happy hour or morning during breakfast. Basic pillow was traditional Japanese pillow filled with beans or grain. "friendly staff! great room with small kitchen and lounge area all to ourselves. EXCELLENT location just an elevator ride into the heart of Nara and ten min walk to the nara deers!"

"Very good service and close to tourists spot! "

"We warmly recommend the Bakery Château d'or hotel. We felt welcome, the room was comfortable and the food excellent."

"This is one of a handful of classy historic hotels near major rural attractions in Japan. A real old fashioned high-end style and treatment that makes you think you're in the 1930s. The location is convenient to the Nara Park where the historic attractions are located. It is not in walking distance of either train station."

"Very good!"
