Overall, our stay was very good and we would stay at Social House again. The hotel has a number of different restaurants, each different and good in their own way. Special requests are heeded and while I wouldn't call it a "business hotel' per se, we worked quite comfortably in the outdoor area by the pool and had meetings without distraction.
The staff was very friendly, professional and responsive. We were not so impressed with our room when we first arrived - I booked the size just below the suite, and it turned out to be quite a bit smaller than expected, made tighter by the design - which while aesthetic and design forward - did not have a great flow in our room mainly due to the large furniture in the small space. They did offer to move us to a suite which was a lot more spacious, but as we didn't want to pay more, we chose to stay in the original room - I asked them to remove the giant coffee table and swap it for a small ottoman or table as well as to clean/replace a badly stained couch. They did, which I was very appreciative for, and it made a huge difference - we were quite comfortable in the room for our 5 night stay.
