Prior to my stay, I had sent a message via Hostelworld requesting a quiet room, but this was completely ignored. I was given a room facing the street instead. "Very noisy neighbouring bar playing loud music on one side of the hotel every night until midnight or 1am. It's an old grand house that is losing a lot of quality and has been converted into a jumbled café full of stuff. The staff are very friendly and kind. The beds and linen are exceptionally comfortable. One of the showers needs a lot of maintenance."
