"Front desk staff excellent. Location Great. Refrigerator in room was not working and had to change rooms. Housekeeping Fair - removed bag from trash can and didn't replace, removed bath mat and didn't replace, ran out of toilet paper, no extra roll. "

"The Astor is an 8 minute walk with a 23kg bag from the blue train line at Syntagma station to the front reception desk. It has a fabulous view of the Acropolis at the breakfast area. There are two convenience stores within 100 metres of the front reception desk. There are numerous bakeries and coffees shops aswell very nearby. Breakfast is very decent. I would rate the hotel value for money and very well positioned for a few days in this ancient capital. "

"Breakfast was amazing! The rooms are clean, but some areas of the rooms are very load the street over has a nightclub, and you can hear it very clearly when your windows are closed. Luckily, we asked to switch rooms and didn't have a problem afterwards "

"The Athens Tower Hotel is located in the center of historical Athens, right where most tourists want to be. There are literally hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the hotel is right on one of the main squares. We had a room on the fifth floor with a gorgeous view of Acropolis that looked just like a postcard. It's also right across the street from the Metro, making it easy to get to other parts of town. Pros: *Location, location, location! *Staff was super friendly, helpful and cheerful *Breakfast was included and had lots of options so even a picky eater could find something to eat *Restaurant upstairs had good food for dinner (not included with room) *The bathroom was HUGE and beautiful. The shower had one of those rainfall shower heads and great water pressure. Cons: *Noise! Both external and internal. There's road noise. There's noise on the Square. And since we were on the 5th floor, we got the noise from the bar/restaurant on the sixth & seventh floors. Lots of drums/bass. *Fragrances: Apparently they're really into aromatherapy. They had two machines in the hallway that sprayed fragrance into the air hourly. And when they cleaned the rooms, they sprayed fragrance there too. They shut them off for me when I explained about my severe asthma but it was still a lot. I'm glad we stayed there for our first visit to Athens. I recommend it (if fragrances won't trigger your allergies) but I probably won't stay there again."

"Very clean room, nice & modern (I believe only been opened for a year or two). Staff were mostly very helpful apart from being unable / unwilling to turn on the air conditioning when we asked - something about only having this on in “summer months”. The location was rather sketchy and found ourselves feeling slightly unsafe at night, but nothing too major. We were offered a free room upgrade as we wanted the sofa bed laid out which was very generous of them. Only 1 toilet roll is provided per day in the bathroom - take note, you may need to ask reception for more. Overall, a very pleasant stay if you discount the few drawbacks."

"We stayed at the Wyndham Grand the week before we took a 4-day bus tour of Greece and that was good. However, when we returned, we were given rooms at the back of the hotel and across from the gym. This was a totally different experience. It was noisy from the traffic in the back alleyway-like road, to people in the gym after 10 pm dropping weights on the floor. I thought at first it was the restaurant above moving beer kegs or something, but the next morning I heard it again at 6:30 and figured out it was someone in the gym. "
