While the pool is small and the fish sandwiches we had at the bar restaurant were awful, the overall resort is charming, a cool Polynesian vibe, great breakfast buffet and family friendly games area near the very nice beach with kayaks available. It is walkable to the famous Matira beach, which was beautiful, and the hotel has fun transportation to town available for guests. We were there in July during the Heiva Polynesian dance competitions, which were amazing to watch. Highly recommend for a quality, reasonably priced stay. "
