"We LOVED our stay at Smile Hotel. It is our first time in Japan. From the services and amenities, everything was EXCEPTIONAL. We loved the helpful staff, even though they were not speaking english, we manage to communicate with the translator. I forgot an adapter for my laptop and I needed one as I was writing a final exam during my stay and they lended me one. I also needed a ethernet cable and I found one when I arrived. For western residents wondering about the bed sizes, we are a chubby couple and their double bed was more than enough for both of us. They have laundry with auto-detergent (meaning you don't need to add detergent as it has itself), they can provide you an iron at the front desk. I’ll just say that if you have any question about something you may need, don’t hesitate to ask them, they will answer you and if they can they will definitely help you too :) Thank you so much! We are looking forward to staying with you again! ❤️"

"It is a little farther out from the city core but it is convenient being close to the Shinkansen station and subway. The room is a little small even for single occupant but all the necessary amenities are there. The room already had a multi-end charging cable which is a nice touch."

"Great location to train station, but not much to do in local area. But not far from downtown Osaka which was nice. Recommend staying if your planning on being outside the room more than in the room. "

"The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English when my Japanese failed me. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed and there seemed to be a focus on being environmentally friendly. The Hotel was a short and mainly flat walk to shin Osaka station. I’d definitely stay again. "
