"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! "Stayed here whilst visiting family in the Maenporth region. Friendly staff, the communcal areas were in great condition with specific decorations for the Easter weekend. The room was very comfortable with dual aspect windows in our room. Breakfast each day was very good quality with a wide selection of options available, including hot cross buns (as it was Easter) and the staff again catering to bespoke requests. Only areas I would suggest to improve are the slow wifi speed (perhaps look into a Starlink connection for the hotel) and the low water pessure in the shower."

"Every single member of staff that we encountered were friendly and welcoming, an absolute credit to the establishment. A beautiful hotel with plenty of charm & character, within a lovely garden setting. Our room was spacious, clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits/toilet roll and the bed was super comfy. The three course lunch was delicious, filling & excellent value as was breakfast the next morning. Plenty of selection in the bar too. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stop and will definitely return in the future. "

"Well located close to bus stop for short trip into city centre. Our room was very clean and comfortable and had all we needed. There was plenty of room to bring in our suitcases rather than just an overnight bag. Staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Having a restaurant right there was so convenient at end of a long day. Parking was convenient and everything on one level. Breakfast was a good selection of the usual fare. Would recommend this property."
