"It was a three 3 star hotel. They said they had a lot of things, but did not have them. No hairdryers in the hotel at all. The pool was dirty and the restaurant was none exsistence. We were given a menu.but most items were not available. It was mostly a 2 star. Would not book again. "

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. They are rude to the staff, loud, the restaurant is treated like a roadside dhabba, they are in the pool fully clothed with grown adults throwing around frizzbies like it’s a children’s water park. We arrived before 9 am after 2 long flights and were immediately given a room well before normal check in time to recupriate. The following morning we were asked if we would like to move to a better positioned room by the pool, which we did.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Mr. Hookem (sorry if this is not how he spells his name) who put up with my inveterate questions and was helpful in every respect.

The property was in an excellent location. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate at both in-house restaurants and the food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

This was my first time travelling to India, and being alone, I was excited but also initially a little apprehensive. The team at Kintsugi took any initial nerves away the moment I stepped foot through the door. This heritage property is an oasis of calm outside of the bustling town that is Udaipur. Within walking distance of the City Palace and lake, whilst also being far enough away that it feels like a calm retreat when needed. The staff made me feel like royalty. The breakfast and omelettes...

Gem of a place, absolute must for any period history experience seekers. Beautifully appointed and maintained heritage property on the water front with unparalleled night view of the City Palacae and Taj palace island on the lake. Great food (quality, safety, hygiene, flavour and service) at in-house Ambrai restaurant. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely heritage hotel. The staff were all very professional and the meals were all amazing. Mr Singh was very helpful and attentive, he personally gave us a walking tour of the local village, lake and showed us around hotel explaining the rich history. It was a lovely peaceful stay and we would definitely recommend it. 😁
