"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We were upgraded to a deluxe double room which was tastefully furnished , quiet and comfortable.The building is very interesting and conveniently located in the town. We enjoyed our meals and the ambience of the dining area. Our slight worry was that we might not be able to park when we went out for the day."

"Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was large and my bed was very big and comfortable. The spa is excellent. Breakfast was good with a good variety of cold and hot options."

"This was our second stay here we find it convenient to the motorway when travelling back from Birmingham airport after a late flight . Dislike the lack of socket/ phone charging it is only one side of the bed . The room was cold , set the air con unit to 25 degrees but it kept blowing out cold air so turned it off completely, a spare blanket kept in the wardrobe would have been very welcome . I booked a double room and we were given a double disabled room , not a nice room at all with all the adaptations not needed by us which made it more difficult .We arrived after 11pm so did not like to request a room change but wish we had ."

"Lovely hotel with beautiful scenery as a backdrop. Staff all very helpful. Stayed over following a family event for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and it was a great venue for it. "

"The hotel was quiet and the facilities good. Excellent food in the restaurant. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, although this did not impact on sleep quality. The staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend as a place to stay in the area."
