COVID-19 has transformed the world in so many ways, including our approach to travel. The following tips will help you better understand these new challenges and prepare you for your flight to Marrowstone Island:

• Before committing to anything, see if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Get the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
• When you go through airport checkpoints, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Passengers who refuse to wear a face mask may be denied entry or boarding.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA employee. Rather, place your pass on the scanner and then hold it up for inspection.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now allowed in your carry-on baggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag for screening.
• Empty your personal items from your pockets, such as your wallet, keys and phone, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Separate any food you're carrying for X-ray screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA employee to touch and inspect your belongings.
