I booked this hotel on Expedia and surprisingly found the hotel to exceed on our expectations. Hotel is constructed on more than 100 year old Portuguese building. Food was excellent. Hotel staff was very good and courteous. Ambience of the hotel is very good. Rooms are pool facing. Rooms and washroom are very big in size.

Stayed in this hotel a few times now. As per normal it is excellent. Near enough town if you want a little walk, beach short taxi away. Food in restaurant is amongst the best I have had in a hotel. You must have the Goan food.

Stunning hotel with warm, friendly staff.

Great hotel. Clean and good size rooms. Has. Balcony.As per photos. Lovely infinity pool. Away from main street and quite but easy to get to places by walking or taxi. Beach and town 30 mins walk. Needed to ask for coffee sachets and white towels were not hotel soft or white but not stained but just dull and hard.

Enjoyed the stay . Will go back to the same place. Nice and a very hospitable bar. Good pool bar. Very courteous and accomadating staff. Suggestion : book a room on the first floor sea facing. It has doors opening to the lawn and beach pathway. If out of budget, the garden view rooms on the first floor are the same and only a minute's walk to the beach path ( of course no beach view). Goa Marriott will be by first choice and I recommend it to all.

Great accommodation for the price. Breakfast was very good value and the owners are clearly passionate about hospitality. If you want to travel between Anjuna, Vagator and Assagao, then this is in a perfect location. Standout is the pool, which is a good size and usually pretty quiet.

Excellent value with a great discount. Very quiet, bound bound to be hectic during peak season. Restaurant served excellent food and generous portions. Only downside is that it is off the beaten track, which suited me just fine, so transport is a must.

Our stay in May 2015 was amazing, there was 4 of us, one from UK, one from India, one from Oman and one from Indonesia, we are all good friends and often travel together. The hotel location is very good as it is only 2 km from the beach, but away from the hustle of the markets and built up city. Perfect place to relax, unwind, enjoy the facilities and lovely food in the hotel at the Pickled Mango. If you want to be busy then the hotel travel desk will guide you to hire a moped and you can...

Lovely little hotel. Staff all lovely with a couple of exceptions. Housekeeping lady and waiting staff were lovely. Food was good at the hotel bar/restaurant. Entertainment most nights. Swimming pool was refreshing. Close enough to beaches and night market in a taxi. Would definitely stay here agin, it was a pleasure.
