"This was a decent stay. We were hoping to save some money by going this route instead of a hotel for overall price and a kitchen, and we did save money! There is major construction happening next door, so that was loud, and no AC, though we did find a window unit in the closet that saved the day. There were also stand fans. There is a garage space included, but it is for a very compact car, so plan accordingly. Overall, the apartment got the job done. Amazing? No. Good enough, yes. We weren't in...

Beautiful view on Monte San Salvatore from Lugano's botanic gardens.
It is possible to take a funicular to the top of Monte San Salvatore, and to hike down from there. Count 4h to get to Morcotte, voted most beautiful village of Switzerland in 2016. From Moroctte, you can take the boat back to Lugano.

"The property is a perfect retreat on Lake Como itself. Our room, 302, was exceptional. With an open balcony on 2 sides. Giving an uninterrupted grand view of the amazing Lake. It was clean and a good size. The only things missing were Tea and Coffee making facilities and the bathroom isn’t very private. I brought my partner here to propose with the background of Lake Como. The staff were absolutely 10/10. The communication before hand leading to our stay. They were exceptional. Thank you for a great stay. "
