This is a lovely hotel in the historic centre. Lovely room and a great breakfast. The real standout are the staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely stay again and actively seek out other hotels in this group.

Third stay in the hotel. Cannot fault it. Staff helpful. Service efficient. Room very clean and roomy. Close to everything. We stayed for 2 weeks and would have stayed longer. We will be back.

Location was excellent. Everything within walking distance. Cleanliness and amenities were very good. Would definately use again if visiting Malaga.

Great stay.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful .The rooms are very well equipped and clean and the bed is so comfortable that we slept well every night . There is a good selection of food at breakfast which set us up well for a day of sightseeing.The hotel is well placed for the city centre with good access to the main tourist spots. The ancient walls beneath the hotel have been beautifully preserved and make an interesting feature .

We have been to Malaga several times and stayed in both hotels and Air bnb's. Now that we have stayed at Room Mate Valeria we will not be booking anywhere else. It us ideally situated, quiet, nicely appointed rooms, lovely breakfast and, in Maria, has the best hotel receptionist we've ever met. The hotel is a 500m walk from Malaga Centro station so easy to reach from the airport, is close to the centre of the city as well as the bus stop and port, and next door to the cycle hire place. We booked this hotel last minute from a 5 night trip. The hotel was beautiful with a very peaceful roof terrace to relax and unwind. Our room was bright, modern and clean. The hotel is 15/20 minute walk from the old town 10/15 mins from the beautiful restaurants at the Port.

Fantastic

Attractive hotel with external ‘living wall’ and modern interior decor. Guy on reception so friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant stay, marred only by the current closure of the rooftop bar due to refurbishment 😩

A great stay and amazing location.

Fab location, 2 minutes from the cathedral so easy access to everything we wanted to do and see. We were 3 friends travelling so used the double bed and the sofa bed, both really comfortable. We didn’t cook in the apartment but appreciated the fridge, kettle etc. with supplies replenished daily. Great shower with loads of hot water including during the day after a visit to the beach. We asked for more towels which were promptly delivered. We made use of the lovely little roof terrace late...

Staff/owners could not have been more helpful. The premises stand out in an otherwise dubious looking street, but don't be put off, it is a fabulous place to stay. Immaculately clean and tidy. The only reason I did not give a mark of 5 for comfort is because I would have liked a small armchair - but I am 62 years old! Shower fabulous. Highly recommended.

Clean room

This was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, in a hotel!. The hotel itself was terrific as it was so centrally located. I would certainly recommend and will be back.
