"Great room, amenities and lobby were fantastic."

"Excellent location in the heart of Colombo and a very well-maintained apartment block. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and came with great amenities. A real bonus is the on-site dining—both the in-house option and the restaurant were very good. We did have a small issue with an in-house order, but the staff handled it promptly and professionally, and they kindly provided the meal complimentary. Overall, a great stay and I’d happily return."

"The house was wonderful to stay in and visit. The only comment and this is a more philosophical one - what is the balance between originality and being fresh for a guest to inhabit? I think this needs careful thinking through. The house is wonderfu and its a great place to stay if you love Bawa architecture, but some areas could do with cleaning more thoroughly or replacing. The apartment looks very new, is very well maintained and most importantly, its extremely clean. Ive visited Colombo many times and many times, I faced the issue of not so clean bathrooms at some residences - at 50 by the Sea, the bathrooms were so clean and neat that it looked like a 5 star hotel's...
