Really lovely accommodation and friendly staff

Exceeded expectations, hotel was clean and modern and staff were lovely and friendly, recommending places in the local area. I would definitely recommend to those who choose to stay in the area.

Great little hotel near town centre. Staff extremely helpful which always counts for a lot. Lots of useful tourist info when we arrived. Free breakfast too Delightful tranquil pool in a mini rainforest. Small waterfall too. Lovely cool off Recommend anyone to stay here. No left however ask for ground floor room

This was our first hotel on the drive down the east coast of Australia. It is a little dated, but the gentleman who welcomed us couldnt have been more helpful. My husband has to watch what he eats and likes his porridge for breakfast - they provided bowls and a measuring jug. Everyone was polite and welcoming, answered our questions about where to go and what to do.

Really friendly and helpful staff from both receptionists and woman who serviced the room. Great location in Townsville and food at Metropole also good. Decided to extend for an extra night as so good. Great value for money

Wonderful views from our huge window and balcony on the 18th floor. Lovely hotel. We’ve stayed at the Grand-chancellor hotels before in New Zealand and highly recommend.
