"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Melia Chiang Mai is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at—hands down. My partner and I spent 9 nights here at the end of June, and everything about our stay was exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) checked out, we were treated with such genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The service was absolutely top-tier across the board—from housekeeping, pool staff, and restaurant teams to the doormen and security. Every single interaction felt warm, seamless, and thoughtful. It’s rare to find a hotel where every staff member takes so much pride in their role, and it shows. Our room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with stunning rooftop views, a relaxing pool area, and a calm, elevated atmosphere throughout. We genuinely looked forward to coming “home” to Melia each day. I got emotional at checkout—not because the vacation was ending, but because we were leaving such a special place. Excellent ,comfortable,relaxing

"Amazing . Travelled with my 5 year old son. This was our second stay at the same hotel In less than six months . And the staff was amazing. They made sure the big teddy bear was kept in our room even before we checked in. A speacial mention for Mr Rak ( at the reception) and Rudy who made sure they recommended places to visit and things to do with our son. Our flight was late in the day and even the extended late check out was done with ease. We were absolutely happy with our stay ( relaxing and comfortable). I would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. It’s perfectly located too so easy to commute to any restaurant and places via grab. "

"It's a nice property. Has that regal feel with oriental design elements everywhere. it's a larger hotel vs. a botique hotel so they have many amenities on site, and it's really well staffed. Property is kept up very well. I thought the pool area was a highlight as it has a nice view of the mountains in the background. I really liked their green pool towels. I never see that color anymore."

"One of the best places we have ever stayed. It was a few minutes from downtown but we had the hotel driver take us to several areas in town on our request. He was not only on time but early every day waiting on us. . The staff went out of their way to help with all our needs. My wife’s shoes were severely wet from a Toto the National Park and the staff helped with an extra fan so the she’s would be dry before or our flight in the morning. The rooms and service are well deserving of a five star rating. We left for a five star hotel in Phuket and the Chiang Mia Riverside is head and shoulders above the hotel in Phuket. Thank you Chiang Mia Riverside for such a great experience. We may not be back to Chiang Mia but we will refer our family and friends who plan on visiting. "
