Unique, beautifully designed and elegantly appointed place to stay. My husband and I travelled with our sons 9 and 11. Our two bedroom suite was lovely and spacious with great attention to detail. Their spa is wonderful to enjoy a dry or steam sauna as well as their jacuzzi. We were greeted warmly by staff who allowed us to check in early as our room was available. He was very gracious and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious! The warm hospitality was much appreciated.

fantastic experience at Chesa Stuva Colani
our stay for three nights at this hotel was outstanding. Having spent much time in the Engadin in my youth, I was looking for accommodation in St. Moritz/Pontresina/Samaden, etc - but found this newer, off-the-beaten-track hotel by chance. It is run by Andrea Rossi, and a small team, consisting of his wife, a great chef and his wife and some additional staff. Taking the time to talk to staff and listening to their stories, and where to eat and what to do etc is always beneficial. The decor was fantastic - to my taste - and drinks and food outstanding. In fact, dinner (twice) was among the best in recent years. And the sommelier's recommendations were spot on. Madulain is a very small town, and unfortunately not really on the map for hotels, restaurants, etc BUT any attraction is 10 to 15 minutes drive. And for someone living in Canada, this is just around the corner ... This also provided a very decent room-rate, with breakfast included. The Spa can accommodate a small number of people only, but in this instance it was not an issue.

Lovely hotel about ten minutes from St. Moritz
Each room is like a little log cabin with lovely decor and amenities. The breakfast is included and is very good fare. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Parking is on site and free. Cuddly robes in the rooms. No a/c but you can open the windows and the cool mountain air is very refreshing, and you wake up to the sound of birds singing. Our visit was in July, but I bet it would be a paradise in winter. The building is a historic hotel over 200 years old, but was recently renovated inside completely and is very welcoming and comfortable.

Wonderful hotel, close to St. Mortiza
Absolutely had a wonderful experience here. Incredible family owned hotel. Rooms are very new and very clean. They have a complimentary spa (jacuzzi, two types of steam rooms, ice bath, etc). Wonderful dinner restaurant in the hotel with delicious food.

Charming boutique hotel outside of St. Moritz
Gorgeous family run hotel in a quiet and scenic town just outside of St. Moritz. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was fantastic with great service. It was also convenient as there was not many options in the town. The breakfast is also great with plenty of options. The real highlight of this stay is the staff as they love to chat and take an interest in their guests. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Elegantes Boutique Hotel mit hervorragendem Restaurant, komfortablen Zimmern und vielen zusätzlichen Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Parkplatz inklusive. Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Nationalparks.

Die Suite war sehr geräumig und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Einzig die Betten und die Matrazen entsprachen nicht unseren Erwartungen - zu tief gelegen.

Sehr schöne, moderne Zimmer angenehm eingekleidet in Zierbelkiefernholz. Grosszügig und stilvoll eingerichtete Lobby, welche zum Verweilen einlädt. Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit einer speziell interessanten Karte. Gute Lage für Langlauf und Wanderungen. Bahnhof in der Nähe, allerdings mit einem etwas begrenzten Zugsangebot. Zum Skilaufen Auto von Vorteil.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich Empfangen. Das Hotel ist in einem schönen und modernen Stil eingerichtet. Der Spa-Bereich ist ein wenig klein, aber reicht völlig aus.

Ruhiges Hotel, sehr gut gelegen, gute Leute, sehr freundliche. Ich werde wieder kommen. Das Essen war gut, nicht mein Geschmack, die Originale italienische Küche gefällt mir mehr. Dort ist eine erfundene italienische Küche.

Sehr schönes Hotel
Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner als auf den Bildern. Jedoch sehr comfortable sogar mit medizinischen Kissen! Madulain ist etwa 20 min von St moritz entfernt also etwas abgelegen, jedoch befindet sich der Bahnhof grad in der Nähe ca 100 m zum laufen. Spa ist etwas klein , högstens für 2 Personen.. und etwas wenige Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen. Personal ist sehr sehr freundlich und das Essen ist super!
