Everything was so fine. Beautiful room, very clean with balcony. Food at the restaurant dinner time and breakfast was delicious. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is perfect to walk everywhere but the plaza is really noisy. Manifestation at the plaza was really unpleasant and loud for 3 days

Loved our stay. For a smaller space, the furnishings felt premium and well-designed. Extremely quiet and comfortable. The central location was excellent for exploring all of Madrid with ease. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended.

The staff was polite and very helpful, even when we asked for strange things like gloves to eat chicken wings. When we arrived we were invited to sit a chill while they checked us in and provided a lovely rose lemonade. We also got alittle gift for checking out and actually tasty chocolate on our pillow. The location is also excellent.

Lovely breakfast. As others indicated The plaza is very busy - in our two nights there was a bicycle race, an organized run, and an all night protest. That was expected and was beyond the control of the hotel. The party in the hotel was load and unexpected- with young children running free well past midnight. We could have been in a Super 8 with the travelling softball team.

Great location right in the center of Plaza del Sol. Property was lovely and even though you are in the middle of a busy area the sound proofing is great. We were fronted right on the plaza, and I expect there are other rooms that are not, but even so, sleeping was no problem. Walkable to all the sights, sounds and food and drink you could want. They've done a lovely job of creating this space. Bed was very comfortable and firm, great pillows, and shower was fantastic. Staff super. Above responsive, checked on us after we checked in just to make sure we didn't need anything. Supplied us with a welcome drink (non alcoholic) and broght a lovely plate of fruit to the room. I would book this hotel again. It was a bit above our usual price tag, but well worth it. Provided an especially soft landing after a trans Atlantic flight!

I loved staying here. Very clean, great location, beautiful but most importantly the staff. Pedro, Ali, Julio, Jaime, Cristina, , Daniel also Juan and Jorge Luis and Sashi at the restaurant. I felt as if I was with family. They are so nice, kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new. They seemed very happy to work in such a lovely place. I will stay here from now on.

Our stay at La Fonda de los Príncipes was truly unforgettable. This boutique hotel exceeded every expectation and became such a special part of our time in Madrid. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and elegant, with a fresh, refined feel that clearly reflects its recent renovation. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that made us feel at home from the very beginning. Its location is simply perfect, strategically positioned in the heart of Madrid, just steps away from theatres, shopping, iconic attractions, and so many points of interest. Everything felt incredibly accessible, making our days effortless and full of memorable experiences. The food was excellent, with quality products and a lovely variety of options. Both the restaurant and bar are wonderfully cozy, inviting spaces to relax and enjoy the experience even more. And above all, the staff deserves special recognition. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel cared for throughout our stay. Truthfully, we did not want to say goodbye to this hotel. La Fonda de los Príncipes gave us far more than accommodation, it gave us memories we will cherish. We cannot wait to return.

This hotel is easy to miss as it does not have a huge signage. The entrance is a big dark green metal door (next to an ice cream shop). At the side of the door, there is a buzzer to get buzzed into the property. Otherwise, it is a great boutique hotel in Madrid Centro. Quiet despite being right by the plaza.
