The staff was informative and polite. Loved the beach view, and the room was very clean. We had free parking which was a plus. Also there was a free shuttle to the ferry, this saved us money and very convenient. However, they did not provide a coffee pot or microwave in our room. This was NOT CONVENIENT and DISAPPOINTING.

The room was perfect for a place to lay your head down, clean with lots of storage space, which is needed because it is a small room. There is a small frig but no microwave, so keep that in mind, there's no way to heat leftovers. Coffee is only in the lobby, no coffee maker in the room. There's no daily room service, so linen changes unless you're able to catch the house keepers. The beach is very beautiful and the bonfire on the beach is nice too. Take a broom and dust pan with you, the floors get pretty dirty from tracking things in, we had to borrow one from the front desk. Overall, we really had a wonderful time and the stay was very nice, we would definitely stay again. We were not disappointed, just want the public to know what to expect and how to come prepared.

The location is unbeatable right on the sandy beach of Lake Huron with stunning panoramic views of Mackinac Island, the majestic Mackinac Bridge, and the sparkling Straits of Mackinac. Waking up to the gentle waves and watching the ferries glide by was the highlight of our trip. We could walk to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal in minutes, and downtown dining and attractions were just a short stroll away. It's the perfect base for exploring everything northern Michigan has to offer. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, a family adventure, or a peaceful escape, the Beachcomber delivers. The views and beach were amazing! We got fireworks at night which was a fun surprise . Lori is amazing. It’s a dated place but clean and a great price . The shuttle is helpful to take to get the ferry over to the island and the recommendations for dinner were awesome we tried two of them! Loved the orgamy towel on the bed for an added touch and felt like we were cruising lol

The property was different. Location was right on the beach but our king room had no beach view. The manager couple was very sweet and helpful. The room was very clean but very small and older style so small sink was in the room with toilet and shower in its own space. . Our only real complaint was there was no place to hang up anything. One hook in the bathroom. Luckily we keep over the door hook in our luggage so used it and left all our wedding hang up clothes in our car which was conveniently parked outside our door. There was space to put up some coat hooks at least by the door or near the bed. Rest of the room functioned fine. It is a cross between full regular motel and cabin. No extras and microwave was in the office. The room did have a mini fridge. They did do ferry pickup and drop off here on a on call schedule which was a major plus. Overall being aware of the no closet space I would stay here again for a couple nights.
