"Wonderful stay"

"Our room was large with a very comfortable king bed. The outside terrace and lounge provided us with the ideal space for some quiet enjoyment. The buffet breakfast choices were most enjoyable. The hotel location, just outside of the walls and a short walk to the station, suited us perfectly. However, the best thing about this hotel has to be the staff, who treated so well."

"Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "The site said that it was three star. It was really a one star. You could tell that the building was once really nice place to stay. But the owners have not kept up the building. Poor paint, cracking walls, and the floors badly need refinishing. The room had dated decor, and there was a strange sliding door to the bathroom, which did not totally cover the doorway. The entire room was poorly cleaned, with gum under one of the lamp shades, hairs in the bathroom and on the plate, and the plastic...
