I liked the location and the parking for this hotel. However, only one outlet in my room was working and the shower was dirty. Not only was there hair in the shower, when I tried to just clean it up myself with water, it was stuck in place so clearly the shower had not even been wiped down. I really wanted to love this stay, but not being able to charge my phone and my husband’s phone at the same time was not ideal.

I stay at this hotel regularly. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location can't be beat. There are two issues that have come up several times and I hope will be fixed: 1. On several occasions, it's been impossible to take a hot shower in the morning. The staff is aware of this problem and have told me the water will get warm eventually. On my last visit, the shower water was still ice cold after leaving it run for at least 10-15 minutes, not a great use of scarce water resouces in So. Cal. It doesn't happen every time, but perhaps on every third or fourth visit. 2. The bathroom lights that were selected for the newly remodeled part of the hotel are more suitable for a storeroom than a hotel bathroom. They are driven by a motion sensor that activates a very bright light when one enters the room, not great for midde-of-the night trips when one wants just a night light or nothing at all. It's possible to dim the light once it's on, but it's too late at that point. Next time, I will try placing duct tape or a bandaid over the sensor at night! :) I hope these will be modified or disabled in the future.

We had to plunge our own toilet. Staff was very rude and discourteous. A worker was sent to our room after bedtime to let us know the $10 fee was not processed and I needed to get dressed and go down.

We stayed three nights in executive king room. Clean, large and more like a suite without walls except for bath. Max at the front desk was excellent,an embassador for the hotel. So convenient to Franklin Village and mani iconic Hollywood spots. Easy few minutes walk.
