Hospitable host, great stay.

Air B&B set up with the most helpful and friendly host you could want. 5 minute drive from Universal studios, but felt closer. Would stay again if he's still hosting in the future.

Amazing location so close to universal studios and all other Hollywood attractions. Property is located in an expensive residential neighborhood and furnished elegantly with large paintings. Enjoyed my stay at this property very much.

The property is in a quiet location very close to the universal studios and other attractions. Parking is limited at the property but street parking is free and safe. The property manager provided us a parking permit for the day we parked on the street which is required if you park behind 8 AM.

Warm and Friendly Home

The place is in a nice area of Hollywood Hills within walking distance of Universal Studios. We had dinner twice at a vegan Thai food restaurant called Veggie House which was a short walk from the house which was excellent. Amy is a great host and we look forward to staying again in the near future.

Unique experience

The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to Universal Studios. The owner is in residence. The place is eclectic, though clean. Make sure you get the secret to making the water warm or you'll likely have a cold shower. Owner cooked us breakfast. There is also a very tasty French cafe within walking distance.

Great friendly experience

Amy was very keen to help out. She drove me to Dolby theter to catct the hop on bus with discounted price, and even provided a bottle of water that day. What surprised me the most is that she let me check out very late, at 6 pm with no extra charge! Also she arranged a lift to the airport.

Carpets are dirty, legs on chair inside was unsafe to sit, legs were loose, didn’t tell us what time breakfast was, I had to ask, she told me let me know if we wanted any, and to let her know. And she offered only bagels, toast and liquids that wasn’t breakfast at all.

Unfortunately this is a first and last time here at this property, staff/owner was friendly and helped but the place is not maintained well. Did not get the rest I was expecting yet I will say it’s convenient for food places and Universal. Beware of places you look, not all may be as it seems. I do hope this property is better kept could be nice just too high for the experience I encountered.

I have to agree with just about every other review here. Staying here is like staying with a friend. During our ten day stay the host made us feel so at home and was very helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to help us with issues that arose during our stay and we are very thankful. We stayed in the two bedrooms with adjoining bathroom. The beds were comfortable, huge closet space and a large bathroom. More than sufficient for three people. The host made us breakfast in the morning with eggs, meat and toast if we wanted to and we were welcome to use the fridge and kitchen if we wanted. We definetly recommend this place and would come back and stay.

Our stay here was very good! We were looking for some place close to Universal Studios. We wanted to have three separate beds. I liked that we could park on the street, all the hotels we looked at charged extra for parking (sometimes $70 a night!) The breakfast was really good! This is a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. If you go in expecting everything to be perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean like a hotel, you will be disappointed. Don’t stay here. This experience is more like staying with a friend at their (older) house. If you are cool with that level of cleanliness and accommodation then this could work for you. You should have realistic expectations that are commensurate with what you are paying to stay here. We could it to be a good value and were happy with our stay.

Unwelcome place, and she is rude! I ring bell, automate system answer busy. Call the number service and called them. She answered what do you want and that s my number. She did not listen and only talking, asking questions. Finally she shows the room and house smell strong curry. This place uphill and not parking. Which place not motel and not bed& breakfast just 2 car garage, dubleks house. I said l m going to dinner, she did not give room key and yelled it me. NO CANCELLATION, ok!!! That s place not recommended anyone and worst experience ever….
