My wife and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The staff and valets were really nice and pleasant to deal with. The area surrounding the hotel was nice and it was really close to the car rental area near the airport. However, there were a number of things that would prevent me from returning: 1. There was no iron in the room, only a steamer that was not functional. After the steamer was replaced it still operated poorly. A traditional iron would be best. 2. There was nowhere to hang wet towels or clothes from. Coming from the pool this made things challenging. Although there are some hooks in the rooms, these are not enough to handle everything for a couple. 3. The shower drain was clogged and drained very slowly. 4. The hot water was very difficult to access. You have to run the shower and waste a lot of water before it turns hot. 5. The room smelled old and musty. We had to keep the window open at all times to prevent the smell from building up and permeating our clothes. 6. The elevators are tiny and you have to share them with the cleaning staff. 7. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. These deficiencies were not enough to make up for the nice pool area and bar. The food was pretty good.

Lobby is cute & cozy. The staff - quite young/robotic, clearly trained to perform according to protocol. Genuine interaction is non-existent. Front desk staffers never seemed present, always looking at computer. The checkout "script" was robotic. I was asked about Valet service (which was annoying at best, incompetent most times) i began to explain some issues, the front desk person wasn't interested in listening. Sweet hotel, but really needs to get a more engaged & experienced staff. I love gen Zers... but terrible at paying attention in a hospitality role. Tip for competing hotels - hired experienced hospitality agents and pay them properly. The place needs adults.

The property was comfortable, staff was friendly, atmosphere was very nice. Walking distance to good restaurants. Bed was comfortable, quality toiletries. Be prepared to pay for ambiguous charges after you leave, be prepared for the symphony of planes overhead, be prepared to pay way too much for breakfast. I would recommend walking to the nook down the road for breakfast. No microwave in my room, have to request a coffee machine. I would go there again, but I would like it better if they included the "guest amenity fees" and other charges in the cost of the room, instead of charging for them after you leave. I was annoyed and confused to be getting a bill for an additional $125 after I landed back in Canada.
