Dave and Ash were really nice ! Appreciated the hospitality, I also appreciated the upgrade to lounge which was $25 in which you get around $35-$40 worth of snacks and quality drinks. Also their room service is good! The wings and salad was amazing a bit expensive but hey it’s worth it ! I believe it’s not cooked at hotel but maybe a restraunt they partnered with

No AC yet but I see they are working on. It looks like this place spent millions to up keep this historic hotel. It is not easy therefore you cannot be picky. Rooms are amazingly clean and modern and staff is exceptional top notch!

Hotel stands up to its reputation. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Long Beach and one of the most affordable with great amenities. The lounge is a great idea and great new amenity of the hotel and it’s only $25 per night. You would be dumb not to accept it has prepackaged continental breakfast snacks, and evening snacks as well as nonalcoholic beverages

The staff is remarkable! So friendly, helpful, kind, happy!! However ..... we asked if there was a bathtub in the room - they replied, 'yes' .... we were delighted, although when we saw the tub, it was miniscule ... and it didn't work???? My husband went to ask, they said .... yes, we have a tub but its only to stand in while you shower!! Whatever. If you need a friendly, clean, quiet place to stay before you cruise - I'd recommend it. Get the upgrade of $15 - it gives you access to fresh water, tea, juice, coffee - you will most likely appreciate that!
