This is not an apartment, this is a bedsit. Very disappointed with the accommodation. Booked it as a surprise for my friends 40th. Description reads double bed and twin beds. What we got was a double bed and a very nasty sofa bed. The room was dingy, nasty, crimey. It was in the basement with one very small window at the ceiling. The toilet/shower was absolutely disgusting. The crime, dirt, limescale was horrendous. We couldn’t even have a shower. My things were in the room for less than 12 hours and everything completely stank. Would never recommended this given the cost.
I expected so much more booking via Expedia. Didn’t feel safe,
Was very very very disappointed
This place is disgusting. On my arrival, they charge me £20 for cleaning services. When I arrive in my room the place was absolutely disgusting! The smell was horrendous, no ventilation, you couldn't open any window to ventilate the room. On the first night I didn't have any blanket or cover in my bed I was freezing cold! Floors absolutely dirty, toilets... don't get me started it wasn't even able to use them! So so so so dirty. Avoid this place!
The apartment is in an industrial area which is weird but totally fine. Caledonian street underground station is 10 Minute walk away and there are a lot of grocery stores nearby.
The apartment itself is ok for sleeping but the bathroom was quite dirty and so was the whole apartment.
All in all you get what you‘d expect for the price. But would not recommend this to family or friends.

First the good points: the building is in a slightly odd, light industry area but it's quiet, close to several bus stops and 10 minutes from Caledonian Road underground station. The room itself was clean and fairly comfortable and for the most part everything worked. As usual in these places you can hear pretty much everything from the nearby rooms.
On the negative side: the "deluxe studio" (number 10) wasn't actually a studio, it was a smallish hotel room with a small kitchen attached. There are no chairs of any sort, let alone a seating area. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. The TV only got a few random channels and the aerial connection was partly broken so the signal tended to break up. There was only 1 bedside cabinet and reading lamp (in which the bulb was blown although a replacement was provided after a couple of days). The kitchen was supposed to have an oven but didn't. There was a microwave but since there were no bowls of any kind it was hard to cook anything in the microwave except in a mug. There was no tin opener and no tea towels or paper towels (again, some paper towels were provided after a couple of days). They provide 1 small bath towel per person and that's it. In the bathroom there was no bath mat or non-slip surface in the shower. There are no towel rails or anywhere to hang anything except over the shower stall.
After arriging at the property at 4pm as a result of just landing in London, I was aggressively denied access to the property by the receptionist as he persisted that I was late for check in (3pm onwards) and continued with 'it was not his problem' as he had apparently tried to call me twice. I did not have any missed calls or voicemails when I departed from the plane so I highly doubt this was even the case.
After waiting at the residence for an hour outside on the streets for someone to contact me an employee then persisted by saying that I could cancel my stay free of charge because of this inconvience. When cancelling I was then informed by expedia that its a non-refundable stay. So basically, I payed qiute a bit of money for two nights at a low quality apartment that didn't even let me in.
This also caused me to be over an hour late to an activity of which was my main purpose for travelling to London - so Albion basically ruined my weekend.
