"The general cleanliness and condition of this hotel was poor. The floor of the room was sloping and was quite dissorientating when walking into the bathroom. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was stained and looked unclean. The wastebin looked very poor with a rusted lid. Bathroom floor not very clean and the grouting was missing from the corners of the bath. The paint was peeling of the inside of the windowsill. In the room, the kettle was grubby and had to be washed before use, the glasses also had greasy prints on them and also had to be washed before use. The headboard was marked (small tears). The towels and bed linen were clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Certainly not worth the money we paid, and as it is, we cannot recommend staying here. On a plus, the staff were very polite and accommodating. "

"Beautifully presented peaceful B&B with lovely views towards the Brecon Beacons from the breakfast room. We selected this B&B due to proximal convenience to the local "Y Promenad" parkrun, just a few minutes walk away, which I visited to collect my "Y" as part of parkrun's alphabet tourism challenge. Our breakfast was first class in quality and variety and our host Jen was very accommodating in serving breakfast early to meet my parkrun schedule. Our room was well-appointed and the bed comfortable. My only regret is our schedule prevented me from trying out the pristine ensuite shower."

"Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "
