"Everything was super clean and the lobby has been nicely updated. You can tell the rooms are more dated, mainly the bathrooms, but the hotel has done a nice job keeping everything very clean. My biggest compliment is the staff. Our stay was due to the proximity to the hospital and urgent appointments we had for my mom. We needed a lot of last minute special requests and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. It was exactly the kindness we needed during this stressful time. Thank-you!"

"Booked this hotel due to early morning flight on 3/29 needed to be at airport 5:15 am first shuttle didn't run until 6am, had to schedule a lyft. I called on 3/28 around 4pm advising I needed to drop off a rental car and would need a shuttle back to the hotel was told you don't even need to call as shuttle runs regularly. After dropping off rental car no shuttles in sight. Airport advised I needed to call and request one. I called only to be told last shuttle ran 45 minutes ago. Spent 30.00 on taxi to get to the hotel. Didn't appreciate misinformation provided when I specifically questioned shuttle service, I was NEVER advised shuttle service stopped at 9:45. Will NEVER book at that hotel again. "

"Checked into the first room had a real bad odor. Sent to another room that room had an old smell too . only one elevator worked the four days I was there, it was a lot of stress waiting on the elevator, had to use the stairs. Some of the cooked breakfast was cold and was not right. Property is close to the stadium "

"4 out of the 5 staff members were pleasant. The place is very run down. Our door would not shut unless pushed. We left for the day and came back and our door was open. Didn’t need the key card to get in. The room was very out dated with blood on the wall. Couldn’t be moved due to being full. Police were there when we arrived. Elevators haven’t been vacuumed in weeks or months. Paid for a fridge and microwave and still didn’t have a coffee makers. The breakfast was unsanitary and the staff for breakfast was rude. No waffles just undercooked pancakes. No creamer the first day and milk everyone was using. Construction going on next door that’s very loud. Highly dissatisfied with my stay. I will never book at a La Quinta inn again. "

"Pretty good value for the money considering Tampa prices. The front desk was helpful and it was convenient to have the airport shuttle option. Breakfast was good with waffles, juice, several other options. This is an older place I'm definitely nothing too exciting as far as the room goes, but it was pretty clean was nice having him many refrigerator and access to microwave. The walls and doors were quite thin and most of the TV channels are static. What and we could have found a menu channel, because pushing the up channel button took forever. There is a Subway at a gas station open a block away 24 hours a day."
