This is a studio apartment with a good design/layout, good amenities and equipment. I was given codes for opening the front door to the building as well as the door to my unit. There is a lift in the building, but there are about 5 steps up from street level to access it. The biggest issue for me was noise, especially on the weekend. The building is on a very narrow pedestrian street with outdoor cafes on it, plus close by pedestrian streets with more cafes. This is a popular area of Lisbon close to the harbor and various sites. It is incredibly noisy at night - contrary to many reviews- especially on the weekends. People are out until 2:30 or 3:00 am (or later) talking, shouting, singing, etc. Because the streets are so narrow & close together, the volume of sound is high even when just a few people are talking. So beware. This is a clean, nice property in a desirable part of Lisbon, but unless you can sleep through almost anything, you’ll spend your nights wide awake.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was safe and very clean. Although accommodation was very dark with blinds used to cover the view of a wall. A/C also didn’t work for the first 3 days. Overall it was clean and enjoyable.

Husband and I enjoyed our apartment. Stayed 8 nights on 1st floor B side. Had everything we needed. Dishwasher was easy to operate. Microwave instruction manual in cupboard if find tricky. Apartment was only noticeably noisy outside on weekends when trying to sleep like 10:30-11:30 but settled down. Just people milling around talking loudly. Otherwise perfectly peaceful and quiet. Check in was easy (recommend pre check-in link from email). Finding the apartment was tricky as we arrived off Cais do Sodre metro station after 11:30pm. Will try an include photos with tips. Bright yellow awning from bank easy to spot building. Rue da Boavista is best street to walk down towards apartment from Metro. Small supermarkets close by with fresh fruit. Pingo Doce supermarket is 13 minutes walk away. Coffee maker uses ground coffee and has permanent washable filter. Shower door seal does have issues with small amount of water getting on floor but just put hand towel to block. Lots of hot water. Would stay here again.
