This hotel is within walking distance of many attractions. The receptionist (Hermes and Joana) were helpful with sharing ways to navigate the city. The receptionst team were generally helpful. They sent me a surprise treat to celebrate my birthday. While my stay at this hotel was great experience, I was highly disappointed to learn from the spa receptionist that the pool and sauna was closed. I specifically booked this hotel for the sauna and pool. The front desk staff shared that it closed two days prior to my arrival. However, I was not informed until I arrived. Later that day, as sign was placed on the door informing guest of the amenities closure. Jenifer at spa was amazing with providing a relaxing massage experience. For breakfast, they have a wide varity and attentive staff. The options for dinner are not as vast. Be prepared for a bit of noise since its located close to a highway/main road. Overall, great location. I felt safe as a solo traveler.

Our stay was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful with everything from early checking to sight seeing recommendations. We ended up extending our trip for two days and were able to keep our original hotel room with a river view. Thanks to all!

Check in was very easy, room was ready to go and very clean. The wine and the chocolate was a very nice touch since we got off a flight. The property is very nice and the pool , sauna , and steam room were nice additions. The rooms are big , clean, and the bathroom is very nice also. All the staff we spoke with were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place

Incredible time at Aurea!!
Our experience at Aurea was amazing!! Everyone is so friendly, they really went above and beyond to help us out. We were visiting for a birthday trip, and they were so thoughtful with leaving a small cake and some champagne in the room! Loved every bit of our time here; special shout-out to Bruno from the restaurant, Rafael at reception, and everybody else who made our stay so special. Aurea was a big part of us falling in love with Lisbon!!
