Beautiful hotel. In house restaurant Infame was excellent. Staff at hotel were exceptional. Rooms were also exceptional. Area around hotel during the day was perfect. At night the courtyard was very noisy but did not get in the way of a good nights rest. Area around the hotel was not the best area to explore in the evening. Not unsafe per se but not very inviting. That said, I would recommend it either way.

Great hotel in a gorgeous historical building, super friendly staff and the restaurant and bar are wonderful too. The only minus for me was the area, it’s a bit noisy and it is a little out of the way.

Beautiful, renovated property and the continental breakfast they offer is awesome - Hot items, tons of backed goods, granola and yogurt, coffee, etc. Definitely recommend adding that to your stay. However, we were there on Thurs and Fri nights and it was incredibly loud outside, even from the 7th floor. There is a square right outside the hotel with multiple bars and people were drinking and partying until 3 am. Ask for a room on the street side of the hotel if noise is a concern and hopefully it will be better for you on that side...

Very nice option for Lisbon
We enjoyed our four night stay at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel. We had a problem with the door lock after our second night so they had us switch rooms. In both rooms, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and is in a nice setting. The complementary custard pastries delivered to your room the first day are great. The staff are extremely helpful - I give them very high marks. They immediately addressed our room problem and also did research to find a good restaurants nearby. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant and thought it was very good. The hotel is nicely located relative to most of the sites. The neighborhood in the immediate vicinity of the hotel has seen better days but we never had any concerns and walked back to the hotel at night without hesitation. All in all, an excellent option for a visit to Lisbon.
