Great hotel — all the things you want from a small boutique hotel. Comfort, attentive staff who are there to help with anything, friendly, enthusiastic about being there. Great breakfast, cool lobby, easy to park car. Andre the day manager was fantastic as were all the re working staff and those working the bar and restaurant. Great value

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever booked and the entire staff go over and above in every way to ensure you enjoy your stay and that includes the restaurant. It’s clean and quite beautiful with a Lisbon charm. The area is fine during the day, however a little seedy after dark.

The staff at the hotel (and particularly manager Andrés) were fantastic. All friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't enormous, but that should be expected for a European boutique hotel. The room was clean and water pressure in the shower was excellent. The adjoining restaurant, Infame, served delicious breakfasts and dinners. The only knock against the hotel (which is no fault of the hotel itself) is the area it is in. During the day it was fine, but nighttime brought out some questionable characters. If you are accustomed to being in such areas, then you are likely to be unfazed. However, if you or your traveling companions are used to morr posh surroundings, should overpay for an inferior hotel in another part of town.

We had a splendid stay. The hotel’s location is outstanding and the room was impeccable. However, the staff made our visit most memorable. They provided key information regarding the city, tours and restaurants; and they were instrumental in resolving a medical need (crutches for my wife) for both Lisbon and Porto.
