This was our third visit to The Riviera and our reasons for returning was the excellent service and accommodation previously provided. On this occasion we discovered that our booking didn't include a room with a balcony - important for my wife's need for easily accessible fresh air. After making our concerns known the Manager Piero Padovar make a phone call to me in the hotel and said that we could move room the next night - at a very reasonable additional charge. Having just spent five days in Venice - this hotel is situated on the heart of the Grand Canal. The staff were fantastic, the location was superb and the hotel was excellent

Stylish and elegant rooms. Kind and helpful staff. A little ways out of Venice and in a quiet neighbourhood.

The property was very easy to find (with google maps), very close to St marks basilica which was a great spot. The staff were very friendly and spoke english too. While the room was a little dated, the breakfast buffet made up for it with a great selection. Overall I would recommended this hotel.

If, for you, the word hotel means gym, sauna, hairdressing salon and poolisde bar, this is not the place for you. But if you're OK with simply a clean high-ceilinged room with nice furnishings, swagged floor-length curtains in Venetian yellow and blue, with a clean modern toilet and shower, with a self-service breakfast comprising almost everything you could want ... OK, not a Fullenglish, but do you really need that in Italy? ... with friendly, English-speaking reception staff ... this might...

Stayed here a year ago and wanted to go back. Centrally placed for La Fenice, St Marks Square, The Vaparetto and many restaurants and cafes. The staff are polite and nothing is too much trouble. The room temperature was a bit too warm for us and they did offer to move us to a cooler room but we just opened a window. The room was cleaned to a high spec and was comfortable for us.We spent our evenings in the bar after dinner where the drinks are reasonably priced. The wifi connection is excellent...

I would easily recommend this hotel to others. The hotel is beautifully designed, clean and with excellent facilities. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had particularly good service from Mehir on arrival, Sieglinde and Patrick on reception, and Francesca and Elisana in the restaurant. The pool, sauna and gym are well appointed and you as the hotel is located directly on the beach, you are able to walk from the pool area on to the beach where you are provided wth sun...

Great location, close to beach and restaurants!

This hotel should be rated higher! The room was very good value .. very spacious and well designed with the traveller in mind cupboards and storage wise, with a fridge and safe in the room. With windows that actually Opened We loved the green lighting in shower and bed was very comfy. We ate in the on site Fox restaurant .. very good burger and chips and good size salad Great wine list Opening times were great for late arrivals. Very close to Tram and bus stop literally behind the hotel....
