Booked and paid last year for room with king bed. Didnt get that. No explanation why from staff. Room was in old part with no ventilation and double bed that needed to be replaced years ago. Pillows were terrible. Floors created and shower water got stuck on scalding and needed to be fixed. All over ...

First time staying in The Merchant and although the single bed room was a bit of a hike from reception it was clean and comfortable Staff were very welcoming especially at breakfast which was an excellent buffet
