"The hotel was perfect for a one night stopover on the way to Cardigan Bay. Hotel directions were very helpful & description was accurate. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome (including water & biscuits for our dog). We had our evening meal & breakfast with our dog in the very pleasant conservatory overlooking the terrace. The grounds around the hotel were great for a stroll (torch provided for night time walks), highly recommended."

"Fantastic boutique hotel. Beautifully appointed and spacious apartment. Clean and fantastic location in small quaint area of village. Staff at Reception and within the on-site restaurant were super friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic and home made. Chef accommodated specific request without hesitation and wait staff very attentive. The ONLY drawback was the stairs. There are LOTS of them (no lifts/elevators). From the on-site parking lot to Reception and then getting to our room - lots of stairs. Not a problem for me or my teens, but our friend walks with a cane and found it hard. If you plan to visit, and have accessibility needs, be sure to mention it so you are given room suitable to your abilities. I will return here though - beautiful, (and historic) hotel. LOVED IT."

"The room was clean and had great facilities. The mattress was very comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Good lighting options. Well ventilated (Can’t stand airless bedrooms!) Breakfast had good options. Staff were really helpful. We felt very well looked after for our small wedding reception meal. The balance between privacy and attentiveness was perfect. Staff went the extra mile to help with tracking down our taxi. We would stay again if in the area."

"The hotel was clean, tidy, very modern. Staff member at reception was very polite, friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfy and bathroom was clean and tidy. We did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice and spacious. It is a little bit out of the town and about a 20-25min walk to the centre. There's a retail park opposite. I would definitely stay here again."
