"A excellent location close to the castle and seafront although parking can be a problem. My room was OK could have had a bit more storage space and a chair would have been useful also had a problem closing the window. Nice cooked breakfast which includes fruit juice and cereal"

"Lovely hotel and facilities. Rooms are really clean. Beds are very comfortable. Lovely linen. Food at the harbourmaster is excellent as are the staff. Definitely plan to return soon."

"Large room, tiny bathroom, bed comfortable. Very noisy overnight due to the hum of an air conditioning unit although the rooms do not have air conditioning."

"There was limited evening meal choice when we stayed but it was still delicious, as was breakfast. The bedroom was a little too warm for our liking so we kept the window open, (frames need the mould removing though). All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Stairs to bedrooms/dining room/bar are a little steep so may not suit those with mobility issues. "

"The disgusting state of the bathroom overshadowed any plus points in this room. View would have been good if the windows weren’t filthy. Only positive was the lady overseeing breakfast, very friendly and helpful. Signage outside says there is a lift but this doesn’t work. Would not stay here again. "
