"I am a repeat patron at Celeste. It is always a top stay when lodging in St. Paul for business or pleasure. Quiet and quaint setting, with bar and optional sitting. Only problem was that initial entry to a room, left us seeking a working and functional bathroom. Otherwise, would have given five stars again to this facility."

"Lobby looked great, room and hallways still need a few updates (especially the doors). Unfortunately my shower had some stray hairs in it, and the windows were pretty thin because I could hear a lot of noise (people yelling and talking in the parking lot) all night. Otherwise the breakfast was good, the staff was very nice and the price was great. I would stay there again for a quick overnight but not a long stay."

"Parking was good. Room was clean. Has all day coffee just no creamer of any kind. Had some noisy neighbor first night but not hotel fault people cannot control themselves. Near pleanty of eating and gyms. Will stay again"

"I’ll start with the positives: the staff were wonderful—accommodating, polite, and responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, the positives largely end there. On the downside, we were initially given keys to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, and had to call the front desk to resolve the issue. The second room was clean, but the rooms themselves are quite outdated. The bathroom is very small, and the bathtub is in poor condition with peeling flooring that made my kids hesitant to use it due to discoloration. The amenities and toiletries were insufficient, especially for a room meant to accommodate five people. The beds were uncomfortable, particularly the pull-out couch, which was unacceptable as the springs were poking through the fabric. We chose not to complain again because with two toddlers, moving rooms wasn’t a practical option, and there was no guarantee another room would be better. We simply placed blankets over what I would consider an unsafe mattress. Additionally, the noise level was a major issue. While it was quiet when we arrived on Friday, Saturday was very disruptive. We were on the third floor, and it seemed like children running back and forth on the fourth floor above us all day long caused a headache and kept my kids awake late into the night, resulting in poor rest for all of us. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay, and unfortunately, I don’t think we will be returning"
