"There was no beach view It was a side window with the ocean in the distance. Walls and doors paper thin and you heard everyone else coming up the stairs and talking. Prepare yourself for no sleep. Enjoyed isle of wight but won't return to the this accomodation. "

"Booked this hotel as last minute, I come to the island often to visit my dad so this was first time staying somewhere different. Set up more like a b&b than an actual hotel though. John the owner was lovely showed us to our room, and even made sure I knew the code to get back in through the main door. He made us breakfast each morning we were there too which was nice. Only thing id say, is that there was no tea bags or coffee / cups to go with the kettle in the room so had no use being there. Also there was a musty smell in the room. A little bit over priced for what you get. I’ve paid less for other hotels and it’s more modern and has plenty of extras like soaps shower gels tea coffee etc "

"Breakfast was very good with lots of choice . Room was fine but TV quite big for the size of the room. Shower very small. Lovely decor and bar staff and waitress very helpful. Nice being able to use the sauna. Pool and hot tub not yet in use "

"We had a 1 night stay at this hotel as a family of 4 adults. It was quite a convenient stay. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly. There were quite a number of shops nearby and it was a short walk to the beach and the promenade along it where we could find a good restaurant for our dinner too. "

"We arrived and were welcomed by the most accommodating staff. They were helpful, knowledgeable about the area and so pleasant to chat with. We lucked out to upgrade our room to English Channel views. Looking right out to see the Sandown Pier. We absolutely loved our stay. "

"We had a ground floor flat, parking was easy, dogs were accepted, and the flat was fully equipt if you wanted to self cater. There was a little bit of outside space which was enclosed and good for the dog. There were places to eat a short walk away, and a footpath to the beach"
