"As a dog owner, we loved hiw dog friendly the hotel was. Lovely surroundings great staff, very clean, lovely swimming pool, the only downfall was the beds beside the pool were very hard, and we just couldn't sit on them for long, the beds in the grass area were comfortable. The rooms were very clean and spacious,.It was a great location, would definitely return "
"the hotel was deserted, no staff, the bar was shut, no entertainment, no breakfast,no evening meal if I wanted to book one,so all in all new year ruined. the phoned me and said the wanted to check my bank details because they were giving me a small refund but then took the full amount and no refund. if this is how they run an hotel and treat there guests then beware and avoid "
"We stayed for 4 nights at Cornerhouse with Stuart and Linda and found them to be extremely helpful and the property convenient, comfortable, clean and well organised, you could go down for a continental style breakfast or it could be delivered to your room. Parking spaces were fine also their recommendations were great for local pubs alternative breakfasts etc."

"Breakfast not included. No tea or milk in the room. No hairdryer but did ask at reception. Wanted standard double but was 2 singles pushed together. Seemed unfinished. Screws loose, paint chipped, holes in walls."
"What can one say as it's been said so many times before !
This is a gem to surpass any B & B you've ever stayed in before.
The decor is pristine. The rooms are more than clean and comfortable. The breakfast, well Joe you surpass yourself each morning. Andy, " Your toot, toot, toot " as you serve the food is a joy to behold and makes my day each morning.
Can't wait to our return next June that's already booked in but hope to see you later in the year when you're up in our neck of the woods."
"Lovely place - interesting deco; infrared sauna, hot tub and heated outdoor swimming pool - all in great working condition; friendly staff; tasty breakfast "
"This is a difficult review to post. My wife asked me why I chose The Fawley and I couldn't honestly remember so I went to the Hotels.com website. That explained all as the hotel had a 9.6 Fabulous rating. However, the reviews were at least 12 month old and one of the more recent ones had a 'terrible' rating. The pictures on the website are deceiving about the current state of the place. It has become run down and not cared for very well. Cleanliness would have to be called in to question particularly in the bathroom. There was rust all over the loo brush and the shower cubicle needs mould removing and silicone replacing. I did inform the landlord about a leak when the toilet was flushed. The bed headboard had a covering on it which fell off to reveal a less than impressive sight.
The side entrance for guests is tatty and needs smartening up somewhat. The people tried hard and were friendly enough but this place looks to be living off past glories. I do have photos if the owners wish to see them to help improve their business. We wouldn't plan to stay again."
