"No dinner service because it was a weekend. Came down for breakfast around 7:30-8:00 and every table had dirty dishes on it, while staff were just hanging out at the front desk. I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. Worst service I had my entire 3 week trip to 3 countries."

"Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. Grazie ancora Francesco!!!"

Nous étions dans une grande chambre rénovée avec goût, avec vue sur la campagne, avec sa petite chambre d'enfant attenante, pour notre petite fille . "Staff were superb, the view from the hotel was fantastic towards the old city/ castle and a short walk across the old bridge to the old town was 5 mins. The hotel had an indoor swimming pool which we used, it was clean and fresh towels were sat on the recliners next to the pool. We stayed on a bed and breakfast and every morning you had the choice of cooked, fresh ham, cheese and pastries. A small niggled for me was the dinner menu never changed the whole time we were there and we felt it could had a bit of a difference but each to their own. A great stay made easier by the staff and standard of service. I would recommend a stay here 100%"

Beautiful hotel on the walls of the city

"Loved our stay at this hotel! It was a former bishops palace right next to the cathedral and right by the rampart walls. Absolutely beautiful location. We had a room in the building across the way. Large room with view of the church. Very quiet though! Super comfortable bed. We had dinner there on the terrace and it was so good with a great view! Only issue was that our shower wouldn’t drain. Other than that it was perfect! "

"Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfy. Carcassonne cite was less than a 5 min walk as well. It also has a beautiful terasse so you can sit outside and stare at the castle. Air conditioning in room was a lovely bonus on a 35 degree day!"

"I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."
