"Staff at check in were less to be desired. Even though they admitted to having a king bed available, they kept pushing for a double. We hadn’t booked ahead of time so went up to get rates. The rates at counter were more than what Expedia had. When asked if they could match they said they’d ask and came back and said to book on Expedia, yet a couple minutes before they said Expedia was down and they couldn’t take reservations through them. Hmmm.. just wasn’t a pleasant check in. We were spoiled with the first Hyatt Place in Santa Fe. Everything was excellent!! Every other location thus far hasn’t met their excellence. Guess we need to find another chain that has consistent excellence! "

"Continental breakfast was great. Staff kept food stocked and very friendly. Pool was closed until our last day. We were told it would be open "on Friday" but weren't told which Friday (implied it would be the day after arrival). Room was ok. Walls weren't clean and walls on both sides of bed had holes in plaster. Bed was comfortable. Blackout curtains were good. "

"Have to pay $25 to valet park. Only other parking is along the adjoining park street, only about 10 spots. No coffee pot in room and hotel doesn't serve until 0700. Water did not get hot in room 518. Drink and bar prices a bit over priced. Seems everything had an up charge. Bottled water in room was $14. Stocked frig and snack bar in room prices high. Noisy street activity until 2 am ish."

"Food selection was mid. For the cost of the room it was a little beat up. Doors wouldn’t lock, no waters in the room and the pool unfortunately was down for maintenance with no heads-up. Gyms tiny. Good location access to main highways is around the corner. But the few stores around close super early. And sketchy people are always around them. The views from the suite are beautiful with the skyline and the sunset. Just missed that wow factor for the price of the suites for a two night stay. "

"Pool was not available. When booking you should provide information on the website of any "maintenance closures" so that prior arrangements can be made. Specially during spring break when families are traveling for a fun weekend getaway. Even though your sister property was available for use, I did not want to leave the hotel to go swimming. It's an inconvenience. Also, you all did not provide a refund or credit for amenities being that your pool was not in service. Your elevators, only one was working and the wait times were long. The planning was not accordingly due to all the people that booked that weekend we were there. Your property was not prepared! "
