"We have called it an adventure, but not one we want to do again. The property was overall poorly maintained. The plumbing in the shower moved around; the bathroom sink stopper wouldn't open, so we used the sink minimally; the bathroom floor didn't look mopped; the floor seemed gritty; the lighting was grim; the curtains had adhesive labels holding holes closed; the air conditioner/heater was noisy; and we saw a roach 2x during the visit. Ugh. The decor did match the images online, but the reality was much more run down. Also, next to the interstate, we couldn't believe how many locals don't use mufflers. A lot of highway noise. Coffee was only available during the "free breakfast" 8-10 am and 1 waffle maker and packaged granola bars barely qualifies as a breakfast, especially since there was a long line for waffles. Just enough breakfast to justify saying they offer it on the internet. For about $170/night, I would expect so much better. While Super 8's aren't expected to be luxury; in my experience, they've met the basics. This Super 8 did not. Two positives: Bobby at the front desk was excellent to interact with, very friendly and helpful. Also, the bed was actually pretty comfortable. These kept it from being a single star. Since we had paid upfront, we stuck it out - called it an adventure, but we would never stay there again, nor would we recommend it to anyone."

"Our room was below the laundry area for sure. we kept hearing washing machine all day. In the morning at 6:10am we started hearing the sound of something being slammed against the floor in the room directly overhead. It was loud. The noise kept on and off and after 45 minutes or so, we heard someone yelled and the noise finally stopped. We wish we had been told in advance about this, but not happening at 6am."

"Perfect location to visit UNM and explore downtown Albuquerque. Room was spacious and clean, with a great layout for a family. Quick walk to downtown, close to bus to UNM. We did have a car, and parking was easy at the hotel. Only complaint was the free breakfast wasn't great. "

"My stay was fantastic. I was in town for a business trip, and the experience exceeded expectations. The staff was exceptional, with special thanks to Noah and Chelsea, who truly stood out. Noah was incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting me as I came and went, and he offered great recommendations for exploring the city. He’s a real asset to the hotel. Chelsea made each morning brighter as our barista. She’s genuinely kind and a pleasure to interact with. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely updated, with great views, especially from the fifth floor rooftop bar. Beds were comfy and I slept great. The hotel is conveniently located near the Sawmill, which features a huge selection of upscale food court options and live music. It’s also within walking distance of several museums, and I felt safe throughout my stay. Although I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or spa, other guests spoke highly of them. I would absolutely recommend staying here and plan to return on future trips."
