The beds are terrible, the photo of the property is actually the local playhouse ! its by a road , so noise level are high , it was a run down building that was a shock. The curtains did not block out the light and the local car park had a spot light that lit the flat throughout the night.

Excellent location. Closed to old town, galleria for shopping and train station. However, the apartment is getting wear out, especially the mattress and pillow are too soft. The washing machine is too noisy when using it. Overall decoration is good and comfortable. The staff is nice and helpful, even helping us to carry the luggage.

Ideal Location
The apartment is set in an old building which is in a slight state of disrepair (personally I love this). Our apartment was a lot bigger than expected; a small kitchen, a large sitting room, 2 bathrooms (one with a bath) and a double bedroom. Only downside (on this particular apartment) is that it was situated on a main road which was quite busy throughout the night. I’d recommend earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Not the most comfortable of beds, but fine for us. The location is ideal. We got the train from the airport which was very easy. Herbarium Zacisze is literally 5 min walk from the main train station (and no, you can’t hear trains rumbling in and out). The massive shopping centre is situated above the main station. The Old Town is just around the corner, less than 5 min walk to the entrance to the old town and probably a 10 min walk to the main Square, 20 min walk to Wawel Castle. Lots of nearby shops to get supplies; bakers, coffee shops, sandwich and cake shops, a large Carrefour supermarket in the shopping centre. There is so much accommodation in Krakow. Herbarium Zacisze suited our budget and was more than adequate and better than expected.
