Stayed for 12 nights in April 2015, the hotel is beautiful and definately value for money. The breakfast buffet is great, pleanty of choice and has everything. We ate in Platoo on the beach almost every day, great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Also Pim's Cafe which is round the corner from the main entrance, fantastic food and service..always fresh food.

After a miserable bus ride, the staff here were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They dealt with are booking accidentally through two different sites and made us feel very welcome. We haven’t had this good of service for this rate anywhere in Thailand! Also - room, pool and beach are gorgeous!

I'm not normally one for writing reviews, however on this occasion it would be unfair to all the team there not to. I stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't find 1 single fault with anything, ALL the staff there are absolutely amazing, I wish I could take my staff there to demonstrate how customers/guests should be treated, regardless what position they hold there, they go out of the way to acknowledge you. A beautiful hotel with amazing staff who did everything they could to ensure we had a lovely stay. The rooms and grounds are immaculate and the breakfast is probably one of the best we have had anywhere in the world. Very special!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Adult only Sensimar Hotel. The room was clean & the towels were changed every other day. The breakfast was delicious. The staff are all friendly & always willing to help. Swimming pools cleaned every day. Location of the hotel is great. They are many restaurants nearby, all within walking distance.

This hotel is in an excellent location being directly on the beach and close to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large and comfortable and have a separate shower and bath, TV, tea making facilities, hairdryer, and plenty drawer and hanging space. There is also a day bed in the room. Excellent hotel with a very nice pool - the happy hour cocktails in the swim up pool bar were great value. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Having paid for a bay room we were a bit disappointed with the view (room 210) as it looked out onto a wall with a very narrow view of a small pool behind the building. The location is ideal - very close to the beach and the main road - in walking distance to the market, restaurants and bars.

Whilst not a 5 star hotel (as it’s advertised) this property is incredible and very good value for the price. The beach outside is the best we’ve ever seen and the room design is perfect for families. We absolutely loved our stay here although the food/drinks are at a 3-star level. Just eat outside the hotel- amazing restaurants on the beach!

This was our second time in Khao Lak but the first at the Laguna Resort. We found the hotel excellent and very accommodating. Had booked through Expedia and within days if the booking I realised I had booked the wrong room. I contacted Expedia to change it. They got back to me to say I could change the room when I got there. Unfortunately there was no record of this call and the hotel was fully booked. Room: mould on shower wall, wall fixing for shower head unsecured (resulting in the hose firing off water uncontrollably around the shower room!), holes in the bed sheet, no hair-dryer, no iron (not even on request).
