The people that work at the Chanalai Garden Resort are what makes this place the fabulous place that it it. The location is also excellent just across the road from the beautiful beach. The breakfasts are wonderful and so much choice. We would definitely return in a heartbeat, so sad to leave.

Recently returned after spending 9 nights in this hotel. Very great and friendly staff also the conditions are amazing. Free shuttle to market and Phuket town arranged by the hotel also to different beach. Great private beach whatever you need to make the most of it till 3 pm around, no water then till like 7pm. Plenty restaurants and different places to eat just down the road, 5-10 minutes walk. The only down side is the food prices within hotel, European prices more like here in London....

Wonderful hotel. I went there as a last option because all the good hotels at Pathong were occupied; however, it was the best thing that could happen to me. This is the best beach in Phuket. The beach is at 7 minutes walking from the hotel but almost none hotel have beach inside the hotel. Thus it is not a problem. Really enjoyed our week here. Lovely grounds and having our own private pool was amazing. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us when we asked. Meals at the restaurant were good quality and filling but for a more authentic Thai experience I would head to Jenny's Bistro 100m down the main road where food is freshly cooked, cheap and delicious.

It is located about 15 min walk to the beach along the busy road. It wasn't a problem at all perhaps if you are with kids it might be. The food was good, breakfast with good choice always plenty to eat, soup, stir-fry, sushi, omelettes, fruits etc. Ground floor restaurant had a good choice too, they charge 300 B corkage per bottle so its worth of bringing your own wine. Really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic location with lots to do in the resort and facilities to go explore the rest of the island. The resort is absolutely huge with 5 pools, 5 restaurants and a few bars. We haven't stayed in Karon Beach before so we booked this hotel based on Trip Adviser and Expedia web site reviews, it did not disaapoint us. We liked the Adults only Priviledge Club area as we were a party of 4 adults holidaying together and didn't really want to share the pool with splashing kids...been there done that!
