Booked as a getaway to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Arrived late but the Landlady was there to greet us (having called previously to check what time we were expecting to arrive). We'd been upgraded into a large and very comfortable room, containing a super queen bed (we'd given no pre-warning of the reasons for our weekend away). We had a really pleasant stay with a good choice of offerings for breakfast, all of which were well cooked and presented.

Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Always been impressed by the personal service by the owners. Rooms are spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated. Beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous. Cannot fault any of it and it's our 3rd stay. A leisurely stroll to the city centre and perfect for many attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended in every aspect. A bonus in having their own car park too. Staff are all very helpful and polite and nothing is ever at trouble. Looking forward to our next stay.
