"Your staff, from reception [Olivia] to bar staff and bar manager were so helpful and kind. We also met a couple of other staff members [new there, from your other hotel]. Such lovely people. We wnjoyed speaking with everyone and getting insight about the manor."

"We had a nice stay overall, but were very disappointed with one member of staff. He appeared to be making up rules, telling us our children were only allowed 40 minutes in the pool, whereas the day before another staff member had confirmed there were no such restrictions. Plus as were told to leave the pool, a couple with a child joined the pool for a swim. He also tried to charge us for towels, but later admitted we didn’t need to pay once he realised we were hotel guests. We had already signed in with our room number, so this should have been clear. Overall, we found this staff member to be quite incompetent and rude, which unfortunately impacted our experience. Other than that it was a nice stay, slightly out dated room and over priced food."

"While the actual hotel stay was good it was disappointing that the property was unable to be flexible with a booking error, while it was my mistake booking the wrong dates when I tried to correct this within 24h the property was unwilling to re-schedule or cancel the booking made in error leaving me with a 2nd booking was unable to use."

"A very dated hotel. Welcome at reception luke warm with a team that seem disinterested in providing a welcoming friendly greeting to arriving guests. Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms. Towels and bed linen clean. There is very much a vibe of “how little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employees”. And that approach shows. There is also now a charge for car parking at this hotel which isn’t made clear. Breakfast is extra. The Brewyers Fayre just down the road does a cheaper and better breakfast than here."

"Can't fault the hotel, WiFi was strong, TV worked, shower was great, Aircon was great, beds were very comfortable, it was clean and best location for MK Marathon weekend! Honestly can't fault it and waiting to book again for next year"

"We were allocated rooms in the annex in Paddock, the water pressure in the shower was not satisfactory and took a long time to heat up. Unfortunately this was identified too late to raise with the hotel team as the booking was for just one night's stay. Breakfast was superb and the staff were extremely helpful."

"Convenient and well priced accommodation. The room was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. There was parking near each accommodation block. The lift wasn't working in the Heron building. There is a covered walkway from there to the main building where food is served. Signage is not brilliant, especially when you arrive in Heron building from the main building (no signs to direct you to the lift or stairs, no indication that numbers starting 100 are upstairs on first floor). It would have helped if reception staff had explained things a little more, but they seemed more used to dealing with repeat guests."

"Can't speak highly enough of my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, I didn't get the name of the guy at the counter but he helped sort out a cot for my daughter as well as a mini-fridge, really felt he went the extra mile. Room itself was quiet and clean and in great condition. My only small complaints (and this is minor stuff): breakfast is just ok, when you get out of bed in the night there is a light that turns on automatically - I saw elsewhere in the reviews that people liked this but I like my room dark so I would this quite annoying, it would be good if there was an option to swtich it off (this may exist and I just missed it). Overall though great stay and I would not hesitate to reccommend staying here."
