This property is full of history and character. The staff helpful and friendly. Not a problem for us but there is no lift/elevator, they offered to take our bags to our room which was on the top floor (UK 2nd/US 3rd). Self serve breakfast provided which was great - plenty of options; fresh fruit, yoghurts, bagels, juice, cereal, pastries. Chilled bottled water available all day. Rooms were clean, changed towels every day. Breakfast was good, nice selection of meats, cheeses, fruit etc. We only ate lunch once at the Bungalow Bar and what we had was very nice, Bar Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The grounds of this Historic property are very peaceful and its not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. All in all I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Overall we had a fantastic time - loved our large, beautiful family room and the pool. Be aware that you are right next to the airport though and planes land and take off regularly. The thing that bothered us the most was the amount of plastic waste at breakfast. The hotel only provided plastic cups, plastic cutlery and paper plates. So bad for the planet and absolutely unforgivable these days! This would be reason enough for us not to stay there again unfortunately!
