"The owner is not kind or friendly, I had to wait in rain around 40 minutes before a kind neighbor arrived and helped, no bed is ok but tatami and everything is short, I’m 5’8 only and I had to try sleeping in half moon position, no bathroom attached bed room, at night time you have to go down into a very steep stairs which is dangerous, no taxi can enter the premise and will not come to get you. "This property was fabulous. Just what we needed after a busy few days in Kyoto. Serene and lovely. The room was so very nice. Every detail covered. Staff was incredible. Excellent food- breakfast buffet amazing. Free shuttles to attractions and back to train station in Odawara. We loved this property. What a treat. "

"Amazing experience with Ten-yu. We spent a few hours in the attached water park and enjoyed the private onset in the balcony. Free ice cream, tea and snacks in lobby was an added bonus. No need to even pack a bag- clothes, night dresses and all toiletries were complimentary. "
