Wonderful relaxing resort set in beautiful gardens. Very welcoming friendly staff. Excellent food with much variety. Once a week there is a fantastic barbecue served along with a local band playing for everyone to learn some local dances. The bungalows are very most comfortable and very private. There is a wonderful jetty at the beach where you can sit and watch the sunset. Private dining is also available at the jetty or beach. Lovely hotel for couples especially honeymooners.

Very beautiful location and near most things. Although dissapointed the free shuttle bus was only running at 9am and back at 1pm. The hotel advertises that there is one at 2pm which is not true. Which meant getting a taxi there and back was very expensive $30 each way and stonetown. is a must for afternoon and evening. But the staff are super friendly a the rooms lovely as is the pools etc would recommend

It was the first hotel we stayed in Zanzibar for sightseeing purpose in world heritage Stone town. We stayed for two nights in the first week of Dec and enjoyed the stay. We had two days in stone town as part of a bigger trip to Zanzibar. Our stay at Mizingani Seafront Hotel was great. Big clean room, helpful staff and the location was the perfect base for us to explore.

We had a trouble at check in which was resolved quickly by the helpful staff. The room was clean and had a hairdryer in the bathroom. We loved the rooftop pool. Plenty of breakfast options and a beautiful beach. The location is perfect and we felt very safe there.

The customer service at this Hotel is second to none. I am particularly impressed with the food and Beverages Manager Mr Kalei. He is very hardworking and is on top of everything. One of the best things about the hotel are the helpful and very friendly staff. Rooms were clean, spacious, although a couple of minor teething problems as the hotel only opened 3 weeks ago. The staff more than made up for this though. If you are looking for a proper escape to a quiet paradise then look no further. The Marafiki bungalows are set in lush greenery with steps down to the sea. There is a lovely pool but no real sandy beach, though with swimming shoes, you can get down easily to swim when the tide is in. Amazing resort, perfect for relaxing and the friendliest staff with the F&B team going above and beyond. We had a lovely private dinner on the beach on our last night which was a perfect end to an unbelievable stay. Highly recommended and will be back.
