Perched in the foothills of the Himalayas, this former trading post offers spectacular views from Dr. Graham's Homes and colourful prayer flags at Durpin Monastery. Bargain for Himalayan handicrafts at the bustling Haat Bazaar, then sample momos and Tibetan cuisine at family-run restaurants along Main Road.
The resort very is nicely maintained including garden and well kept rooms. A very very courtious staff. Though the food is average but , considering the town, its better than other places.

The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. This was our second visit to the hotel, which we fully recommend and look forward to returning for future trips.
