Unfortunately, the stay was not good for me. I was put in a room with roommates that made me uncomfortable and with their outdoor equipment taking over the whole room. So I reached out to the property management. They couldn't so much about it so I hung out at the living room couch and left early morning.

This hostel was good. Beds were comfy but the room was a bit small. The kitchen/dining area was nice but we could only find one bowl. Overally it was a good place to crash for the night with some nice views in the area

It was a decent stay. We liked how clean the room was and the other guests were also quiet and respectful. The hostel is a little run-down but overall clean and safe.

Pros - good wifi - close to attraction - clear check-in instructions - clean kitchen & big dining area - big living room with games - kitchen supplies (forks, bowls, plates, pots) - big shared fridge - nice view - comfortable beds Cons - no towel for showering - only two toilets for 20 people - no power in the morning and host didn't come and fix it - no power = no breakfast, no coffee, no hot water, can't charge any devices

This was your typical hostel. The private room was cozy and included with towels and sheets. There are only two bathrooms, which was challenging in the morning and many people were getting ready for their days. The showers are also communal and pretty basic. If you are looking for a more private stay, I would recommend the guesthouse. Overall, this worked out well for us as we only needed a place to sleep. The scenery outside the hostel was absolutely beautiful, and if we’d had more time, we would have explored.

Disappointing
The location is convenient, just off Route 1. We were staying in the main building. The room was tiny and the walls were very thin, although this is not uncommon in hostels/guesthouses in Iceland as far as we could see. The kitchen was simply terrible, lacking even the most basic supplies such as dish soap, let alone salt/pepper. The decor and fabric of the building were dated and it was clear that it had not been refurbished in a long time.

We stayed in small cottage. Be aware of the following: you have very small bedroom and very small entrance room, and the toilet with sink with cold water, without towels. The shower is in the main building. It is opened, no privacy at all. We did not find the mentioned "Rainfall showerhead". There is no wi-fi in the cottage (but stated in the amenities). Bottom line, we did not fill comfortable, but we would define this property as likely ok.

When I walked into this property, there’s a sense of smell that’s seemingly from the washroom hit me at my face and it was lingering during my whole stay. I don’t know where the smell is from, but it’s probably from the washroom. The shower area of this property is very small and old. There are only 3 shower stalls. The bedsheet was not very clean either. My skin got very irritating. I scratched myself to sleep that evening. The next day, when I checked, I got bug bite looking bumps on my legs and arms. They are very itchy. I did a ring road trip in Iceland. I stayed at multiple places during my trip. This guesthouse is the only place I do not wish to go back.

We stayed in cottage nr.2, front door had to be lifted up to open/close and the room's window let the rain to infiltrate in drops into the room at the margins. It was lot of rain and wind, but still... some repairs would be needed. Otherwise check-in, cleanliness, facilities etc. were ok.

This was a great guesthouse right off the main Ring Road, with gorgeous views as with most of Iceland. We had a great room with 2 bunk beds to ourselves and there were nice showers, bathrooms, and a great kitchen and dining area. Our room even had its own sink and mirror which was nice. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great in our room but worked fine in the kitchen and dining area. Would definitely recommend this place!

Stunning little hostel surrounded by beautiful nature. I booked almost 2 months before and got a great deal. Service was good, rooms were small but also great. One of the best place I stayed at during my entire trip through the Ring Road. The room felt comfy, clean, and had a built-in cushion bench next to the HUGE window in the room.

We had the place to ourselves, which was great. The area is lovely. The sunroom is a gem. We had a problem with a water pipe that sprung a leak and wet all of the floor in our room, but the staff came in during the middle of the night to deal with the situation. It was unfortunate, but accidents happen!

No cambian las tohallas , mal olor ((viejo), 1 inodoro 🚽 para 6 cuartos ,la calefacción de mi habitación no funcionó nunca (#1) tienen un salón con mesas cerrado y las personas unas encimas de otras en la cocina , sabemos que es espacio compartido ,pero para tantas habitaciones debe haber más accesibilidad,el piso de abajo 6 personas y 1 🚽,es la peor experiencia en todo lo que he viajado , no lo recomendaría ,demasiado caro para ni siquiera cambiar la tohalla

This hostel is perfect for a couple night low maintenance stay! One towel was provided as I had read other reviews that they were not provided. I arrived after the check in desk was closed, they had all the information I need typed on a small piece of paper with the key. Easiest check in And check out I’ve had. It’s even a great place to view the northern lights! Overall no complaints for my one night stay!

Bring your towels, bare minimum
We stayed there for 2 nights. We were able to do the check in later which was great. The main doors do not close and stay open all day and night long. NO TOWELS, YOU HAVE TO PAY. The room was relatively small but ok... the arr on the wall was questionable. The showers were dirty, hair on the drain from 10 years ago. The kitchen was dirty, no soap, half appliances, but it was big. The living room was nice, more questionable decoration in there. No radiators in the room, no place to dry your staff, limited appliances. Felt alward withe the bathroom/ shower situation... You can not adjust the temp of water in the cubicles, some locks in the showers dont work, cant leave your staff there.
